Champagne+Fromage is a family business that specialises in sourcing its own Grower Champagnes, artisanal cheeses and charcuteries. Their name is a celebration of one of the most beautiful pairings ever discovered and they are keen to share it with everyone.
They want to change the perception that Champagne is for celebration only. Their independent producers make Champagne with passion and exuberance, following the traditional methods of artisan winemaking where the focus is on the “terroir”.
Champagne is a wine and as such can be drunk any time, by itself or with a meal, where the combination with cheese is real special. It is light enough not to overpower delicate goat cheeses, but it also has enough acidity to cut through the savoury funky Raclette or the creamy baked Camembert and Mont d’Or. With the effervescence of the bubbles scrubbing the palate between each bite and with the temperature is served leaving a pleasant and refreshing feeling.
